COLOR therapy
The photos below will enlarge.
After cleaning the plastic lawn chairs that circle the fire pit I thought they looked pretty faded and sad. They are still in good shape, they just needed COLOR therapy!
I gathered up every can of spray paint in the garage and let them have it!
Not bad. One was especially bad so I wrote all over it with paint pens and made it the HAPPY CHAIR! I'm thinking about doing theme chairs. TIME OUT chair, QUEEN chair, etc.
Any ideas?

It goes without saying you need a Ms. Bea chair. Bea happy, Bea nice, Bea loving, BeaUtiful ....
Welllllllllll, I KNOW how talented you are but I kind of liked the first photo better. It looked homey, peaceful, someplace I wanted to be. Altho your new chairs are wunnerful, they seem more like they belong in Violette's yard with all her artzy stuff. I'm not sure the bears and the deer will appreciate your talents. LOL just ragging you girlie! UM....what's on the grill and when will it be ready? I'll bring some southern tater salad.
Very cool Judi.
I really like them.
I have some white plastic chairs
that could use your expertise.
Right now they are covered in bird
crap.
Judi,
I love these, I think I will paint mine too. Did you put a finish on these. I was thinking of doing my table too. Everything is all washed out and new paint will make it look wonderful thanks for the idea.

These came out wonderful!! They look all happy and revived! The beauty of a project like this is that anything goes........just your imagination. I love the idea of themed chairs. I feel like getting some of these just so I can paint them!
XOXO
Love these. I am way behind reading blogs. I have 2 that I should do this to. Love Hugs and Blessings

Those are so cool! Awesome!
Wow......i love this idea Judi! And to think that pen pens would be permanent on plastic chairs?? Too cool! I have about 8 grungy looking chairs which need a revamp! Thanks!
Love, Violette
The BEST part about painting old grungy plastic chairs.....you can't make a mistake! The spray paint section is loaded with COLOR and the paints BOND with this old plastic really well. No coating required, the paint seems very durable. I do suggest buying the little spray gun attachment that you use with spray cans. I thought I was getting carpal tunnel before I found mine! They turned out so well that I may repaint them before summer is over.....HOT pink!
